"Vodka-Cola in a Can Goes on Sale in Japan" Posting by Staff link to story | permalink

The Kirin Brewery Company, one of Japan's largest alcoholic beverage companies and seller of the popular Kirin Lager and Kirin Ichiban, will release the Kirin Cola Shock, a cocktail blend of cola and vodka.
Kirin said that it will begin expanding a ready-to-drink low-alcoholic beverage market. Kirin Cola Shock, unlike any other beverage in the market, will offer a "highly stimulating" and "refreshing" experience, the company said. The beverage will be highly carbonated and will contain 15 natural ingredients with more than a splash of vodka.
The product goes on sale in 350ml and 500ml cans in Japan on July 8, 2009 - or - just make one at home, it's easy - and pretty tasty:
Pour 1 oz. of regular, vanilla or orange vodka into a highball glass filled with ice.
Add 4 oz. of Coca-cola. |
